Monica McAtee

Monica McAtee joined WSIA in April 2023  and serves as Director of Education. She shepherds WSIA’s career development and technical training programs. Prior to joining WSIA, Monica led executive development strategy and programs for T-Mobile and passionate about creating business improvement through people empowerment. She also worked in Product Management at Sprint and served as a Program Manager for the Sprint Accelerator, where she worked with local organizations to curate programs focused on entrepreneurship, tech innovation and talent acceleration.

Monica was named one of the top NextGen Leaders by the Kansas City Business Journal for her passion and commitment to Kansas City’s talent and entrepreneurial community. She has served on the board for KC Tech Council and currently serves on a local board committee for Project Lead The Way, an organization focused on transformative learning experiences for K-12 students and teachers across the U.S. Monica graduated from the University of Missouri with a BA in Psychology, and she has an MA in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Roosevelt University in Chicago.
