Julienne L. Fritz became Director of Operations at NAPSLO in December 2014 and became part of the WSIA Team in August 2017. In her role, she is focused on membership services through support of the Education, Career Development, Internship and Automation Committees, as well as U40, the Foundation, membership and internal operations and strategic planning.
Prior to joining WSIA, Julie was the Chief Business Strategy and Development Officer for the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) with responsibility for the development of comprehensive business operational and strategic plans related to products and services (online systems, publications and distribution of intellectual property) of the NAIC. In her capacity, she worked closely with key state regulatory and industry staff to ensure that NAIC products and services met the business needs of states and insurers. In addition, she has extensive contract negotiation and account management experience, as well as performed staff support for several NAIC committees and an advisory board.
Julie has a B.A. in Business from Bethany College in Lindsborg, KS and an M.A. in Economics from Kansas State University. Prior to working with the NAIC, she taught economics, math and business courses at two small private colleges in central Kansas.
Julie and her husband, David, live in Lee’s Summit, MO, and have three grown children, Nicole, Kendra and Taylor.
