Q: Do I need to be in IT to attend this event?

A: No, the WSIA Automation Conference is a forum for exploring, educating, sharing and networking among all those constituents impacted by automation, including not only technologists, but underwriters, brokers, managers and executives interested in ensuring their organization is able to manage the disruptions to their advantage.

Q: Do I need to be a WSIA member to register for the WSIA Automation Conference?

A: No, this event is open to both members and non-members. If you’re interested in becoming a member of the WSIA, please check out our membership webpage for more information.

Q: Is an early registration rate available?

A: Yes! Be sure to submit your registration by January 12, 2018 to receive the Early Registration Rate! The standard registration rate will apply after January 12, 2018.

Q: What airport should I fly into?

A: Orlando International Airport is the primary commercial airport serving the Orlando area. The airport code is MCO.

Q: What is the dress code for the meeting?

A: The dress code for the event is Business Casual.

Q: I’m already registered. Can I change my registration?

A: Absolutely! Please email Emily Stubbs at indicating what changes you are requesting for your registration.

Q: Can I cancel my registration?

A: Yes, registrations can be cancelled at any time.

  • A full refund, less a $50 administrative fee is available prior to January 12.
  • Cancellations received from January 12 - February 2 are subject to a 50% cancellation charge.
  • Cancellations after February 2 are non-refundable.
  • Name substitutions to another associate within your company are available at any time for a $50 administrative fee. To cancel or transfer a registration, please contact Emily Stubbs at

Q: I’m registered as an exhibitor. What sessions can I attend?

A: Exhibitor registration includes access to all the sessions and events on the agenda.

Q: Can I register a guest for the meeting?

A: Guest registration is not available for the Automation Conference. 

Q: Is a badge required to access event spaces?

A: Yes, a meeting badge will be required to access event spaces.
