John McCrary

John McCrary joined WSIA in September 2024 as the Technology Operations Manager. In this role, he supports the WSIA team and members by managing the technology, systems, and software that enable WSIA to provide services to its members and run its business operations.

John brings more than 27 years of experience from the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC). During his tenure at NAIC, he spent 26 years on the Information Technology Operations team and almost two years on the Security, Risk and Compliance team. At NAIC, John managed projects and supported the company’s technology, systems, and software, and later provided cybersecurity incident response.

John holds a B.S. in Computer Management Systems from Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville, MO. In his free time, he enjoys hiking mountains and relaxing on the beach with his family.
